Lora Atkin
Physiotherapist
Originally from Yorkshire, Lora is a UK trained senior musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who graduated in 2013. She has gained extensive international experience across the UK, Switzerland and New Zealand, working in a variety of settings including private clinics, hospitals, sports teams and alpine ski towns. This has given her a broad range of experience treating everything from acute and sporting injuries to ongoing musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative rehabilitation, and working with people of all ages, backgrounds and activity levels.
Her approach is compassionate, individualised and exercise-focused, with a focus on helping people move well, build resilience and get back to the activities they love. She combines education, manual therapy, dry needling and tailored exercise rehabilitation to help each person work towards their goals.
Outside of the clinic, she loves an active outdoor lifestyle and is happiest hiking, running or skiing in the mountains. Her love of travel and adventure brought her to New Zealand in 2023, and she’s been enjoying everything NZ has to offer ever since.
