Class information

Difficulty: Beginner

This class is designed for those who are brand new to Pilates, for those who are wanting to focus on simply the basics, or for those who are wanting to build up their base strength and fitness. BASE is all about teaching the fundamentals of reformer Pilates in a safe and controlled way without the frills.

Our instructors will introduce you to the reformer and guide you safely through a 45 minute full body workout. There will be plenty of options provided to allow for any injuries or conditions you may have, just let us know when you come in for your class!

No previous Pilates experience is required to book these classes. 1:1 Pilates sessions are also available for those who would prefer, please inquire with a member of our team if you would like to make a booking.

Difficulty: Beginner to intermediate

FORM is our bridging class and the next step up from BASE, so for those of you wanting to build on the basics of Pilates, this class is for you! These classes are all about improving overall form on the reformer through a combination of strength and mobility exercises.

Our instructors will guide you safely through a 45 minute full body workout, with options for progressions including adding props, working on balance and more dynamic movement patterns.

It is preferred that clients attending FORM have some previous Pilates experience. Our BASE class is a good option for those who have never tried reformer Pilates before. We also have 1:1 Pilates sessions available for those who would prefer, please inquire with a member of our team if you would like to make a booking.

Difficulty: Intermediate

These classes are Four's most challenging classes and are the next step up from FORM. REFINE is a great option for those wanting to further refine their technique, grow their skills and confidence on the reformer, and of course to feel the Pilates burn!

Our highly qualified instructors will help to guide you safely through each session, and ensure you are getting a good workout in at the same time! This is achieved through a faster paced class with more exercises, harder spring options and full body integrative movements.

It is preferred that clients attending REFINE have some previous Pilates experience. Our BASE class is a good option for those who have never tried reformer Pilates before. We also have 1:1 Pilates sessions available for those who would prefer, please inquire with a member of our team if you would like to make a booking.

Difficulty: All levels

Four’s pregnancy reformer Pilates classes are run by our Women’s Health physios and pre/post-natal trained instructors. During pregnancy it is important to stay active and strong, and reformer Pilates is a fun and safe way to achieve this.

These classes are aimed at strengthening and stabilising the key muscle groups required to help you to stay comfortable and confident throughout your pregnancy and into the fourth trimester. Key focus areas include the pelvic floor, postural muscles, hips, legs and upper body.

No previous Pilates experience is required. As our instructors are qualified Women’s Health physios and Pilates instructors, we are able to cater to any specific needs or concerns so please let us know at your first session if this applies to you.

Difficulty: All levels

Congratulations on welcoming your little one into the world! Now it’s time to start your return to exercise journey with a postnatal reformer Pilates class, run by our qualified Women’s Health physios and pre/post-natal trained instructors - bubs are welcome!

We are here to guide you through a safe return to exercise following vaginal delivery or C-section. We focus on areas including the pelvic floor, abdominal strengthening, upper body and pelvic/hip stability.

No previous Pilates experience is required, however we do highly recommend (not mandatory) that all class members book a postnatal physiotherapy consultation prior to attending their first class. If you haven’t booked yours in yet, click the "Book now" button to make a booking with one of our Women’s Health physios.

Difficulty: Beginner to intermediate

STRETCH classes at Four are all about improving flexibility, general mobility and spinal/postural alignment. This can be particularly beneficial as part of your injury rehabilitation, as a recovery session or simply to relax, stretch and unwind.

The reformer is an excellent tool for stretching and mobility work due to the assistance and support of the spring tension that comes with each exercise. Key areas targeted are the hamstrings, hips, all levels of the spine as well as chest/shoulders and upper body.

It is preferred that clients attending STRETCH have some previous Pilates experience. Our BASE class is a good option for those who have never tried reformer Pilates before. We also have 1:1 Pilates sessions available for those who would prefer, please inquire with a member of our team if you would like to make a booking.
